A Kenyan court on Tuesday charged Ibrahim Rotich, husband of late Kenyan Olympic runner Agnes Terup, with the murder of her.

On October 14, Kenyan police arrested Rotich, 41, the husband of runner Terop, who won two bronze in the world championships, after she was killed in her home, and last week ordered him to undergo a mental examination before submitting a petition.

Tyrup was found dead in her home, after she was stabbed in the neck with a knife on October 13.

Terupp finished fourth in the 5,000 meters at the Tokyo Olympics this year.
