The Saudi national team leaves for Sydney

On Friday, the Saudi team left for Sydney, Australia, in preparation for facing the hosts in the final matches of the Asian qualifiers for the World Cup.

The Australian team, ranked second with 9 points, will host its Saudi counterpart, who leads with 12 points, at the top of the fifth round of World Cup qualifiers.

French coach Herve Renard, the Saudi national team coach, had excluded 3 players from his initial list, namely Abdullah Mado, Yasser Al-Shahrani and Muhammad Al-Kwekibi for lack of readiness, while defender Ahmed Sharahili was summoned.
